Ashton K. Arnoldy

Like many millennials, I became acquainted with divinatory practices at a young age—Sun sign astrology, for instance, around the age of eight. I immediately felt at home drawing correspondences between the archetypal images of the zodiac and the unique personalities of my friends. At age sixteen (in 2009) I discovered natal astrology and will never forget the profound feeling that swept over me as I began to interpret my own chart—as if I were being witnessed by the cosmos itself. From there I began studying others’ charts and tracking transits, both personal and global (mundane astrology).

Eventually I would discover the work of Richard Tarnas and move to San Francisco to pursue a PhD in the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness (PCC) program that he helped to found. I am a student not only of astrological technique, therefore, but also of its underlying philosophy and complex history. My approach combines the archetypal, depth psychological lens modeled by Tarnas with the tradition of Hellenistic astrology (as taught by Adam Elenbaas and his Nightlight Astrology school). My practice is also informed by my scholarly interest in theories which posit that human consciousness is involved in an ongoing process of evolution.

Drawing on nearly two decades of personal experience, rigorous scholarly study, and a rich interplay of archetypal, Hellenistic, and historical/evolutionary perspectives, I aim to assist others in their pursuit of warm-blooded fortune and comportment with the Good beyond being.
